A glitch in my life

By Andrew

The pain in my life really burns.

But every player in life takes their turns.

There are so many people I’ve never met.

But in my life what you see is what you get.

Doped up on drugs, scared as hell.

Hiding my life in my very own shell.

My physiatrist says my progress wont budge.

But it’s the ones I love most is whom I bear grudge.

All my life I wear this scar.

Knowing someday I’ll make it far.

But now I live in the future today.

Knowing my mental wound would heal someday.
