The Moon

Oh' halo laden orb,
who rules the night,
Wash the world over,
with your secondhand light.

Let your soft subtle hues,
reflect upon me,
As you trek your way across,
the inky black sea.

The cataclysmic scars,
that inundate your face,
Reveal the reckless havoc,
of all outer space.

Mistress of the waves,
which roll upon the sea,
The ebb and the tide,
owe homage to thee.

Oh' Timeless Goddess,
who rules the night,
Let us bask in the wonder,
your magnificent sight.

The Moon
