I don't really have anything left in me
I am a cancer that's been growing slowly
I am an institute in need of showing
Where I've been sinking and where I've been floating
I am the sickness that doesn't have medicine
An HIV patient with la grippe porcine
A condor that has yet to touch a cloud
A rainforest that has been mowed down
I am the birds that are shot from the trees
The fire that spreads to every great prairie
The handcuffs on a man that should've never be chained
The ones without food with one foot in the grave
The walls with beautiful covered-up art
The ones who should stop and those who should start
The will of just one faithless believer
That the world could be good if we had more recievers
And not everyone needs to yell in a crowd
But some need to stand up and some need to sit down
And some need to be brave and some need to be frail
But that we're all equal everyone everwhere
A gun doesn't make you stronger unless
You turn it against those who turn against all of us
