i can never say the right things right enough

i can never say i'm sorry enough

i can never say i want you enough

i can never say i hate him enough

i can never say i'll try harder this time enough

i can never say i'll stick with you this time enough

if you're really that miserable why do you stay?

is it because he's your umbrella out of the rain

i may not be manufactured like that

but i'll protect you just as well

i'd saw off my skin if need be

and stretch it over your head.

you'd never feel a drop of rain again
