i was impressed
you seem to have that effect
on me
and i said baby
you're the end of my story
the climax has bored me
and i said don't shut me up
i think they need to hear this
and you wanna know
but don't want to get to know me at all
she said honey
i think you've had one too many
come home with me
i'll be all you'll need tonight
now in the backseat
it's littered with drugs and trash
your bestfriend's on my shirt
like a cigarette ash
and i'm to blame
apparently so
but you never
told me no
and i said you're holdin me back
i'm moving, moving too fast
and these lights leave a little trail for your eyes
i'm all over i'm sorry; forgive me
but don't get me
you never understood at all
and the nights too long and it's gone on and on and on
passed the break of glass pass the bottle on
and dawns not coming quick
now we're here and i'm to blame
forget the scene but remember the name
