hang your head upon my mantle
even though you disgust and disarm
i can vomit colors like a roman candle
and you can sound off like a car alarm
and into the bed we'll sink like the stink
from decay and rot claims a corpse
you were the ball holding my chain
but you're dragging me under the earth
i am the sun after a long day's work
of turning and yearning to be
the center of your universe or
the only light you'd ever need
