When all the stores are closed and
All the windows broken
Would you smoke with me
On all the city's streets

We can't buy what we want but
We could be at peace
In a world whose thoughts and ways
Are lost on me yeah

In the summer when it rains
We could be like kids again
Before we were put under fire
For all of our sins

And in the night when it's dark
We'll roll until we cough
Then we'll simply spark
And find that peace is in the heart

Cause we can't buy what we want
But we'll always be at peace
If you'll roll another joint
And smoke with me yeah
