How does it feel to be alive when everyone you love is gone?
The apocalypse came and went but you're still holdin on
And the ash in the sky is telling stories
Remember when it was snow?
I feel I could survive it if
it wasn't so cold

How can you hear a single word when the baby screams so loud?
All you want is one more chance but she has locked you out
And I don't believe anything that
You have to say
I took a piss and for some reason
It spelled out your name

But how does it hurt to sleep at night in an empty bed?
See the spot behind you is where I used to put my head
And I haven't been sleeping much
Just staring at the stars
Trying to find someone else
Who knows who they are

Because I sure don't
Know anything
I tried learning but
These are things
That come to you in time I guess
Maybe this is for the best
Maybe I'll be happier
Without your meaningless
Apocalypse
