If you can read this then you got my letter
I hope everything is better
Now that I've left home

Like an astronaut I sped
Into the wild wonderness
Is it onto me you hold?

And sinking seems to take forever
I wish you would have attached more rocks
My load wasn't any bigger
Than yours but I'm the witch
Just don't point your guns at me

I'm soaking in the saline from
Another one of your floods
Will this come out of the carpet?

And trying never gets me far
The loneliness is measured on
I wish that I'd just stop it

Almost as much as you do
We're tired of the divide
We tried
Failure is not an option
But we passed up that mission
There is no glory in sacrifice
An empty arm
A tomb cold as ice
But watch your back as you walk away
She's got stilletos on
Her pumps were aimed at a valve that pumps no more
