Well you can find love in the city that sleeps
Where the creatures give you anything but good dreams
And I am not a creature I'm just one of the damned
You never should have stopped to take my hand
Because I bathe in neon and  I soak cuts in drugs
And the bottom of a bottle is the end of my love
So if you dream you better take care
Dreams become nightmares here

You can run so hard you taste the blood in your veins
But no matter where you run you'll never escape
This city will swallow like an open grave
It'll drive everyone insane

Rock bottom's just too far down
It's just too far underground
When you're dragging everything underneath
The marker on your treasure says R.I.P.
