i am under the gun
against the ropes
the hole in my head
gave me false hopes
and the hole in my heart
says take me back home
i don't want to be here
with a lifeless corpse
and i am wrapped around
and around your finger
load it, cock it
call me Trigger
the lights are black
and i hear a scream
the lights go up
Was this a dream?
I remember the place so vividly
but you made me forget
like i'm smoking green
and i am a painter
and you are art to me
and i need someone
to say my heart still beats
and maybe this blood was a part of me
but like you
it won't come back to me
