Education is one real legacy that parents can give their children and it will be forever appreciated.

From experience and personal observations, education is the best way of helping youths to be better adults.

By education, I mean parents should engage actively in educating their children spiritually, morally and of course academically so as to prevent youths from engaging in corrupt practices amongst other ills in the society.

But due to financial constraints as a result of many Nigerians living below the standard of living and bad economy, many parents finds it very difficult to feed well, how much more send their children to school.

Their busy schedule to provide food on the table and money to send them prevents them from even spending quality time with their childre.

While the Federal Government in times past and recently have helped to make education a free commodity to all, they should still pay more attention to funding educational institutions effectively.

You would agree with me that more and more students pass out of secondary schools yearly and are denied admission into higher institutions of learning because the number of institutions available in Nigerian can’t adequately meet the demand nor does the exorbitant schools fees required by these institutions encourage youths to further their education.

Education is necessary for a well-developed economy. the Federal Government of Nigeria should do more by creating more institutions of learning adequate equipments and also reduce school fees rate to enable Nigerian youths receive needed education.
