This is my very own tribute to my beloved Scottish fold who just passed away. He was sick and suffering, so we had to have him put to sleep. It's been extraordinarily painful for me as the tears keep coming, so I just wanted to take the time to share this with you. Hope you like it.

"From the very day you came to be with us, you were like an angel in fur, one-of-a-kind, and so irreplaceable; a dossile yet possibly feared feline, you were 18+ pounds of rare tawny fur, those gleaming gold eyes stood out strongly like immense diamonds.

There is never any replacing you, for there may be many cats, though none quite resemble your unique lifestyle, although another may fill the painfully void place in our home, your place could never be taken our hearts by any other. You watch over us now from a better place, in perfect health, as you run and play; each day and night we pray for you, and silently add one day we will see you again.

We think of you and cry, your death was untimely and unfortunate, and had a dramatic impact on our lives. For 14 years, you warmed our hearts, as now you warm the hearts of heavenly bodies, and wait for us-to be able to pet you once again.

You lived a long life, painful and suffrage in the end, though unforgettable nonetheless, memories of you will last a lifetime, not a day will go by where we won't stop and honor you.

You were more than just a cat, Dutch, you were an angel in disguise, a guardian angel sent to guide us, and you still do that today. No matter what, Dutch, one thing that will never change is, you'll always be my very best friend, in mind, body, and spirit."
