"EMPTY HANDS"
By Dylan Ross
09Aug2010
For Christopher and Natasha

Empty hands not to hold,
our new born son,
the empty space grows cold

Empty crib not to bed,
our new born son can't rest his head

Empty bassinet not to soothe,
our new born son we both did loose

Empty glider not to rock,
our new born son; it was a shock

Empty swing not to swing,
our new born son,
fun it won't bring

Empty room not to play,
our new born son any day

Empty car seat not to ride,
our new born son in Heaven fly

Empty arms not to hold,
our new born son,
we both grow cold

Empty hearts stole our love from our new born son,
but together we must still carry on our love,
together we must fill each other with our love
