You Didn’t Even Try To Save Me

(A Triolet)

You didn’t even try to save me

Your indifference is what now counts

When all my hopes relied on thee

You didn’t even try to save me

You witnessed all outrage blindly

Your passiveness now haunts

You didn’t even try to save me

Your indifference is what now counts.
