I hate the fact that booksie asks for a summary for every work. Why can't you just let the title say it all jeez. :/

The black blade of sorrow,
Stabbed me in the heart,
I will be alive tomorrow,
With my spirit torn apart.

It kept cutting me,
Scars deep as such,
The pain kept coming,
But my jugula untouched.

My sword on the ground,
I know I've failed,
The ghost of the past,
In my mind he prevailed.

The taste of defeat,
Too painful to be true,
You remember all the haters,
While no one remembers you.

The ghost of the future,
The oblivious one,
Would you give us an eclipse,
On tomorrow's morning sun?

Or would you grant me chances,
For myself to redeem,
As I press on to the light,
It's worth as it seems.
