Darkness knocking on the door
looking for my wretched soul
what immortal gallower?
could bring a figure fouler?

Approaching the door
thinking on my soul
what do I regret,
what do I dare accept?

Staring at the gate
awaiting my fate
what a warm embrace
one I thought I'd never take.

I opened the door
I opened my soul
what have I done,
what will I become?
