Life to Death (Haiku)

Death can happen at

Any time, at any age,

And to anyone.

Everywhere it waits.

Like a tiger on the hunt.

In this sence, we're prey.

Life is a blessing.

It is the vital essence

Of all existance.

However, life is

Not a rock; sturdy and safe.

It is a river.

It ebbs and flows, thus

Becoming death once again

And once more, we're prey.

"Dedicated to all those who

hold the hand of death and

to all with enough life to

mourn for them."
