Needing Balance (Hiaku)

The deep emptiness

that is hidden in my heart

it is taking over

the painful saddness

sometimes envelopes my mind

darkenning my thoughts

the burried anger

I always keep it bottled

but the bottle brakes

the torturing pain

that makes me feel all done

as if no one cares

I want them to stop

to feel nothing but numbness

to be cared about

But then the rain stops

and I'm glad that I'm not numb

When happiness comes
