The World and Me

They always try

to rip me at

the seems

as if I am

their own personal

rag doll.

If I work

hard at something,

they sneer.

If I try

to be different

they laugh.

If I give them

the slightest chance,

they would

crush my hopes

and dreams into

fine powder.

They fear what

they don't understand...

and what they don't understand, is me.
