“Cry Out” by EDS

This black cloud hangs over you,

Like a poison bleeding through.

It teases that weary smile,

That never seems to falter

But always seems to fade.

You walk on wounds that never heal.

Feeding the rains of a rusting heart,

That you keep locked behind the bars.

For so long you forgot that feel,

Until you handed over the key

But now that dark cloud hangs,

On the loneliness only you can see,

But never understand.

And now there is nothing left to lose,

As I look at you through this broken mirror.
