To find ones Soul

Poem by: EganPhotography85

Summary

Think twice before shrugging someone off because of what they look like. Open your heart and find their souls.

I may be the one you can trust.

The one person you can lean on.

But you will never know,

for you are one of many,

one of the many that think

they are better then everyone else around.

I may not dress as you do,

I may not look as you think I should.

You think you know how someone

is by looking at their

surroundings or appearance.

You are missing out,

you need to look into someones eyes

to start to see into their soul.

A hidden heart, a trustworthy soul

is found in ones eyes.

When you do not give a person

a chance to show you, you lose out.

I may have been the one

you could have trusted with your worries.

I may have been the one

person you needed in your life

when in need of someone to lean on.

But you will never know,

until you open your own heart,

and give a chance to that person

you just let walk away from your life.
