Ekho Thorne is just another child born into a small town called, Cliffside Light. A town, that hides itself in the middle of the forest. Cliffside Light has a secret. One that if found out by the other surrounding towns could put them in grave danger. when a person finds their soulmate and both of them agree to “Bridge” they are linked together by an ethereal cord. This cord makes it so that the two share emotions, pain, life and death, the ultimate sacrifice of being with the person you love. This secret has been kept sacred for hundreds of years. The only people allowed to tell the newborn children about this bond are their fathers, but before Ekho can learn everything about the bond her father dies.
