It was my very first day of high school. The day I had been pining over for over ten years. The day I would finally tell the guy of my dreams, who I'll call Keith, that I loved him. The day I would walk down HHS, confident as ever with my braces off and breast to finally show off.

But I should have known better than to think my day was going to be perfect, it wasn't even close. First off, I woke up with a really bad headache which was an omen right there that this was not going to go down as one of the best days of my life. I had been so siked about it being my first day of school that I stayed up half the night trying to find the perfect outfit and talking to my bestie about finally telling Keith my true feelings.

As I got up, I felt groggy and nasueous (probably from the buritto I had the previous night). I rushed to the bathroom and was fortunate to have it open for business for we had only one bathroom in the house and there was five of us.

So I'm thinking now that maybe my luck is going to change. I get dress and have a nice convo with the parents before I'm off to school with my bestie, Erica.

My brother, Spencer usually takes us to school but since he went off to college, we had to walk to school and the only thing bad about the walk is that we were running late and it was a half hour walk. So we had to basically run the whole way but we still didn't make it on time and when I got to my homeroom, I was the last one in and everyone was staring at me.

I was so embarrassed and I had to get the first chair in the front. By lunch, I was back to thinking that things would be better but they only got worse.

Even though I could have held it, I decided to go to the bathroom and as I came out, I saw Keith at his locker. I ran over to him, thinking it was either now or never.

"Hey Keith, do you have a minute?" I say and all the while people are staring at us and pointing. He's looking around as I'm looking around, wondering why everyone is laughing at us or more like me.

"Ah, yeah I guess so but why is everyone staring at us?" He says.

I shrug, "Ihave no idea but let's go somewhere private and talk."

I turn around as he closes his locker and he starts to follow me to the cafeteria but then he says with a laugh, "Wait, Ithink I know why everyone is starring and laughing."

"Why?" I ask turning towards him.

"Because you have tissue coming out of your ass." He whispers in my ear and bursts out laughing. My eyes grow big and I put my hands behind my back and sure enough there's a big piece of tissue paper hanging from my ass.

I run into the bathroom, horrified. I sat in one of the stalls the whole lunch period and even though it hurt that it happened in front of Keith, I thought the day couldn't get any worse but it so did.

Keith was in my last period, which was gym and I was surprised that we would have to swim the first day but we did. And since there wasn't any bathing suits in my size, I had to wear a suit that was way too big on me. I just hoped that it would hold until I was done with my swim.

Everyone had to go up against someone else and I was the first to go up with a girl who looked scared as I don't know what. I was a good swimmer so I knew I had this in the bag.

When the coach said, "ON YOUR MARK!" I was so ready. "GET SET!" Too ready. "Go!" I was already gone and all I could hear was cheering. I really couldn't see who was winning but I thought I was steadily in front of her.

And as soon as I did the backflip which is something I shouldn't have done with the bathing suit on, I could feel my bathing suit sliding down. I didn't think it was down too far, so I ignored it and swam back to start as fast as I could.

When I got out, the girl I had been racing with, was still swimming, so I had won. I jumped with joy and my suit fell down. Everyone was laughing and I was really humiliated. I cried and cried and ran into the locker room. And from this day forward, everyone knows me as B-Day suit girl.

But at least one good thing came out of this bad experience. Keith eventually asked me out and we have been inseparable ever since!
