Wisdom from a gas station--
"True love never fades."
Cars pass on by, either unaware
Or without a care.
At first, I think it's so silly...
Do they expect me to take this seriously?
I laugh at the wind,
My breath offensive.
Wisdom from a gas station--
It can't be that great.
A few desensitized words
To leave prices blurred.
That's all... right?
If it was so insignificant,
Why am I thinking about it?
Wisdom from a gas station,
Please don't be true.
I don't want to remember
Those moments together.
Can you teach me to forget?
In my heart, it's untrue.
I should've taken you more seriously.
Wisdom from a gas station--
My friend, you are wise.
I can't forget the face
That I refuse to replace.
Will this ever stop?
I guess not... After all,
"True love never fades."
