I stare silently at the wall;
I’m hardly ever used at all

Sitting on a dirty old shelf;
Next to a broken garden elf

I used to shine ever so bright;
People used to depend on my light

What’s this?? Someone picked me up;
But now they put me in a great, big cup

Now we’re headed outside;
Will I be set aside???

Oh, now I see;
Where they are taking me

I’m at a big garage sale;
And now I’m next to a big pail

It’s not been easy my good friends;
But I have made it to the end

It’s now time to say goodbye;
Because once again my lights about to die

What’s this, can it be!
Oh, YES it’s a battery!!!!!!!!!
