Tenth story with ten stories
Watching the water flow
Distracted by the breeze that moved the curtain
Imagining who it could be
Paper towels for outlets
You’re filling my ears with meaningless words and worries.
Careful before those words mean something.

Why do I ever bother, why do I even bother?
You are all that I had
Promises broken leaving me broken
I’m lost
I’m falling into pieces
Shattered, un-swept

Sweep me off my feet again,
Will ya?
