She sits in a corner, unmoving.

Eyes blank and unfeeling,

Tears rolling down her face, dripping

A sight so heart-wrenching.

What had happened to her?

People would say.

Her parents abandoned her

As she was a mistake.

The once, vibrant cheerful girl

Was gone forever.

What was left of her?

Had no will to survive

Drip, drop, Drip, drop.

Her tears would fall

Along with her little frame

Cries becoming softer and softer.

What has become of her?

Neither dead nor alive

Neither alive nor dead

Just an empty husk behind.
