The sun traverses across the fields of heaven,
And tides the moon to rape the seas.
The stars align, and endlessly collide
Creating a sky-drawn inferno.

A catalytic pressure bleeds celestial fear,
And binds us in a state of tormented rapture.
We stand abate and abdicated,
For we are the tempest's resident.

The seeds we have cast to flourish and thrive
Stand vigilant to be sown, and betray us;
And it is by our hands that they shall be reaped.
Self-preservation turns to a self-inflicted genocide.

In this world, ignorance is bliss.
And we stand, mouths agape, staring to the shrouded sky
As the downpour of reality drowns us in a pool of our own self-aberration.
We thought nothing of our host. Now, we wrest our lives to quell her fury.
