Everyone has their doubts.

I will never be a fully functioning gear of society.
I'm missing too many parts and,
I have too many parts.
Where I should have cold steel,
I have a fully functioning heart.

I will never have a deep relation.
I am far too detached and,
too close for comfort.
When all others persue,
I refuse to step forth.

Everyone will always see me as me.
My mask sits on my face and,
fails to serve its purpose.
When I want the attention,
I'll ask "Why do I deserve this?"

I'll constantly look down on me.
I'll try to look up and,
only see beyond.
My self esteem is plenty high,
but not very long.
