A sweet, succulent treasure
The opposite of she
In the eye of the beholder,
Beauty is all that it can be

Her perfect green eyes
Her shining black hair
It’s all that they see but
There is more than that there

The gloss of her eyes
The tears that she weeps
The depths of true beauty,
Only run skin deep

They are all so jealous
Of her super-model looks
The girl she portrays
Is beautiful by the books

She is not like the others
They just look, never seeing
The true thing their missing is
Her outside hides her inner being

Her heart nearly broken
Her soul almost deceased
The thing that really killed her
T’was beauty, the biggest beast
