Where are you Summer?

Poem by: Ella Lynn

Summary

Please get here soon summer....I miss you. I'm sorry I wished for Winter while you were here. I was just confused! :)

Skin turned to gold, freckles stand out

Shorts getting shorter

Days getting longer

Fire glowing in the late night

While stories are stretched and thinned

Stars pulsing with music

As we dance the night away

No one knows the time

Who cares?

We know that Summer is here.

Hair flies free

While colors burst in the sky

Parades rumble on the streets

While the sun gets hotter

We party all night

We'll relax all day

Where are you Summer?

You'll never over stay
