Stuck in the tangled web of life, forcing my way out.

The web grows thicker and darker, pulling me back within.

The one who holds the light steps back one more step.

Keeping me in the shadows, and won't pull me out again.

The wound grows deeper with every tear that's cried.

The one with the power to heal, just turns a cheek.

instead of binding it, pours salt to make the pain last.

The monster and demons inside my head

Torture and taunt me until I darkness takes over.

The onewith the skills to vanquish them, joins in

Making the darkness envelope me ever stronger

I am on the edge about to fall, teetering with every breath.

One more gust of wind will send me hurtling to my death

The one who stands watching, watches me struggle to hold on,

Doing nothing to save me before I take the fall

The one person to save me from all the struggles within

Does not see the blackness that has taken over my soul.

Please oh please, I ask thee, save me before I fall.
