Bichette's Five RBIs Helps Jays Beat Rays

A recap of yesterday's Tampa Bay/Toronto Game Three of three.

Before yesterday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jay's Bo Bichette was awarded this year's Roberto Clemente Award.

Bichette then got five RBIs in a 6-3 Jay's win.

Bichette hit a three run homer, a RBI single, and a sacrifice fly in yesterday's game.

Bo Bichette had five RBIs yesterday.

With yesterday's win, the Jays won the three game series.

At the postgame press conference, Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo said taking two out of three games from Tampa is huge.

"It was a great series," said Montoyo.

Teoscar Hernandez hit a RBI single for the Jay's.

Robbie Ray made up for his last start.

Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray, made up for his bad start last time out.

Ray pitched seven innings, allowing a earned run, and struck out an astonishing 13 batters.

Ray is now 12-5 and has 233 strikeouts this season.

Jay's reliever, Jordan Romano, picked up his 18th save of the season yesterday.

Mike Zunino and Brett Phillips homered for the Rays yesterday.

Ray's starting pitcher, Michael Wacha pitched six innings, allowing seven hits, six earned runs, and struck out five batters.

Toronto begins a three game series with the Minnesota Twins tomorrow night.
