A recap of last night's New York Yankees/Toronto game.

The Toronto Blue Jays continue to win.

Last night against the New York Yankees, the Jays battled back from a 6-2 deficit to win 12-7.

The Yankees, though, struck first.

The Yankees went ahead 2-0 at the top of the first inning with solo home runs by Luke Voit and Aaron Hicks.

In the bottom of the first, Rowdy Tellez drove in Cavan Biggio with a double.

The Jays tied the game in the bottom of the second inning when Santiago Espinal drove Travis Shaw with a single.

At the top of the fourth inning, Miguel Andujar hit a solo home run to put the Yankees ahead 3-2.

At the top of the fifth inning, Clint Frazier drove in D.J. LeMahieu and Voit with a double.

At the top of the sixth inning, Toronto walked in a run.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Jays came out swinging.

Toronto scored 10 runs to go ahead 12-6.

At the top of the ninth inning, Frazier scored on a routine groundout.

Toronto's Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went three for five at the plate and had three RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu, went five innings, allowing six hits, five earned runs, two walks, and struck out five batters.

Voit went two for four at the plate and had a RBI.

Yankee's starter, Jordan Montgomery, went 3.1 innings, allowing six hits, two earned runs, two walks, and struck out a batter.

The two teams play again tonight.
