Jays Sweep Marlins For The Second Time This Season

A recap of last night's Toronto/Miami Game Two.

The Toronto Blue Jays have done it again to the Miami Marlins.

For the second time this season, the Jays swept Miami after winning 3-1 last night.

It was the Jays fourth straight win.  The first four game winning streak of the season.

"We're playing good baseball," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

Teoscar Hernandez hit a RBI double at the top of the first to put the Jays ahead 1-0.

Later in the inning, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scored on a routine groundout.

Bo Bichette hit a RBI single at the top of the fifth inning.

Bichette went two for four at the plate last night.

Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray went six innings, allowing an earned run, and struck out six batters.

Another good outing for Robbie Ray.

Toronto's reliever, Tyler Chatwood also had a good outing on the mound last night.

After struggling for two months, Chatwood had a second straight scoreless appearance last night.

Miami's Starling Marte hit a solo home run.

Marte went two for four at the plate.

Miami's starting pitcher, Trevor Rogers went five innings, allowing an earned run, and struck out five batters.

The Jays kick off a four game home series with the Baltimore Orioles tonight.
