A recap of last night's Boston/Toronto game.

November 15, 2019.

That was the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins met.

Boston won 4-2.

Shortly after that game, Leaf's head coach at the time, Mike Babcock, was fired.

Sheldon Keefe took over.

Last night was the first time the Leafs faced the Bruins with Keefe behind the bench.

Mitch Marner had a goal and three assists in a 5-2 Leaf's win last night.

"I really thought it was a great team effort all the way through," said Keefe at the postgame press conference.

Both John Tavares and Auston Matthews scored two goals.

Matthews scored back-to-back power play goals in the second period.

Toronto's goalie, Jack Campbell was spectacular in net, stopping 42 shots.

Taylor Hall and David Pastrnek scored for the Bruins.

Brad Marchand had two assists.

Bruin's goalie, Linus Ullmark stopped 31 shots.

The Leafs finish off their home stand against the Los Angeles Kings tomorrow night.
