A recap of yesterday's Kansas City/Toronto Game Two.

Alek Monoah has good day on the mound.

Toronto Blue Jay's pitcher, Alek Monoah pitched seven scoreless innings in 4-0 shut out win over the Kansas City Royals yesterday.

"He was really good," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo on Monoah's performance yesterday.

Montoyo also admitted at yesterday's postgame press conference that he thought Monoah was going to be rusty after the time off he had because of an injury.

Thankfully for the Jays, Monoah wasn't.

Monoah said after the game that he feels throwing strikes are more important than velocity, (the speed of the pitch).

George Springer hit two home runs yesterday.

That included a two run homer in the bottom of the third inning.

Springer goes deep twice.

Springer went two for four at the plate and had three RBIs yesterday.

Marcus Semien hit a RBI triple for the Jays in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Royal's starting pitcher, Mike Minor, pitched seven innings and struck out six batters yesterday.
