Hello, I'm Ellie Anderson and I'm classed as the "Odd" girl in school. I dress a bit gothic sometimes which means stereotypical people assume I act dark and moody when actually I'm one of the happiest people in the school. I have my friends but none of them dress like me and I confuse them sometimes. Anyway, This is leading to me explaining about how just about everyone at my school looks the same, especcially the girls. They wear superdry coats, their skin is permantaly bright bright orange, they all have designer handbags and their hairs died either bright blonde of trashy black. When I see these people trotting around acting like their better than everybody else I feel warm inside. I feel happy and proud to be different. And its not just the look that makes us different, Its the music too, They like the same mainstream artists when I prefer bands like My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevonfold, Blink 182 and Sum 41. When they have their music blaring out of their tinny phone speakers I just plug in my ipod and block it all out. I mean seriously, The music in the hits right now is pretty repetitive and edited to the extreme, its as if nobody has talent anymore. When you see these bands live their voice is out of tune and completely different to their singles and albums. Come on people, How can you not see that those people have no talent ? Theres so many great bands and singers out there trying to make it with their natural and beautiful voices. Singers such as Christofer Drew and Stephen Jerzak are so beautiful but are never noticed! Oh and whats up with all this swearing? I swear occasionally when I need to make a strong point but is it really neccisary to swear after every word? It just makes you look like your trying so hard to fit in. To be honest I'd rather be different and picked on rather than be the same and fit in. Your only truly going to accomplish anything if your true to yourself and everybody else around you. Thanks for reading, Ellie x
