An open letter to the American People,
With recent events concerning Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman I feel that it is time that we, as Americans, stand up and be heard. For more than a month now we have been wearing hoodies, marching and flooding social media with cries of justice. It is time for us to stop saying we “want” justice and begin to “demand” it! The people who are responsible for providing the needed justice are dragging their feet hoping that the public outcry will end, we need to let them know that it will NOT end anytime soon. We need to tell the people that matter that we are American citizens and we demand justice be done now or we will replace them as is our right. With this being an election year many of these peoples jobs are at stake, stop asking for them to listen and MAKE them listen to what we are saying, MAKE them do what is right, MAKE them give Trayvon Martin's family the justice that is so richly deserved.
George Zimmerman is a murderer, his father (a former state supreme court judge of FL), the States Attorney and the Police have all conspired to hid the fact that this was murder and should all be charged as well.
In conclusion, I would like to say that justice WILL be served be it through the courts or some other means, the people are ready, willing and able to take the law into their own hands when the government fails to do so.
