The Missing Key

Tip, tap, tip, tap.  Click, screech the door flies open.  Type, type, type, welcome.  Insert Keycard, “ok.”  Chairman Johnson says.  Swish, the bottom cabinet comes open, like it’s alive.

Slide, the hidden cubby slides open.  “Where is my keycard!”  Yells the Chairman.  “What’s wrong, Chairman.”  Guard Brent bursts in.  “Nothing just misplaced something that’s all,” the Chairman says.  “Ok,” the guard says calmly.

“Please leave me to my studies,” Chairman Johnson says.  “Alright,” the guard tells the Chairman.  Click, the door falls shut when the guard walks out.

“Where could the key be?”  the Chairman says to himself.  I wonder where it is.  “Wait a minute, the flash on the guard’s black belt.”  “The keycard. The guard took my keycard from my hidden cubby.”  “How did he know about the cubby though?”
