Steve’s Stupendous Shock

By Elton Camp

When Steve met Rae, he was thrilled

With lust his heart and mind were filled

Rae invited, “Come in and stay a while.”

He understood the meaning of that smile

Everything went just as Steve did desire

He soon found Rae to be a raging fire

When passion cooled, he looked around

Spied a picture of a man with evil frown

He had mean eyes and scruffy beard

Steve knew he was one to be feared

“Is that your husband?” he called out

“I surely hope he’s nowhere about!”

“No, I get that question from everyone.

That is me before the operation was done.

“In those days, my name was Ray,

But now, ‘Rae’ is what folks say.”
