When you are small,

the front door is the gateway to your castle

But still nothing means more than growing tall

Spreading your wings

to beat those who are already there,

Those who are already kings.

They told us; follow the rainbow

to fulfil your dreams,to find what you need,

Not yet letting on that life is merely a show.

It seems a shame

something so hard to come to terms with,

Turns out to be just a game.

Life is attacking us at one hundred miles an hour,

Neverland an impossible fantasy

For us who watch helpless, in our tower.

Fairy tales and Nursery Rhymes -

the lies of childhood committing the crimes.
