I love your big ears that stick out a little too much. When you go too long without a haircut, you look old. I like the little bit of grey hair you have. You wear outdated clothes and I think that is cool. You are a really mean person. When you are trying to think of a comeback, it takes you a really long time. I am glad that you aren’t afraid to ask me to show you how to do things you don’t know how to do. When you don’t want to talk about what I am talking about, you say something nice about me or ask me something about myself. You are very patient with me when I get mad at you. When you have been too mean and I tell you to apologize to someone, you will, even if you don’t mean it. You let me babble on and on about stuff that you don’t really care about. When I don’t think you have been listening to me, you recite every word back to me. I don’t like when you do that. I don’t like when you show me you aren’t the cold man everyone thinks you are. I don’t like when you call me sweetheart. I don’t like when you don’t call me back. I don’t like that when you do finally call me back, you act like it is no big deal! What if there had been a fire! I don’t like that when I am sad, you act like I have nothing to be upset about. I don’t like when you say “it doesn’t matter.”You say that I always get my way, but our time together is dependant on you. You like when I get bitchy and tell you what to do. You talk to me differently than other people. You look at me differently than other people. You don’t tease me a lot. You aren’t afraid of my temper. I like the way you flirt with me.
There are so many things that I will never tell you. But the biggest thing that I will never tell you is that I love you.
Instead, I told you goodbye.
