Sometimes...I like to watch myself bleed I slice across my delicate skin. I carve my own history in flesh I don't let myself forget. As I peal away these layers I smile as blood comes to heal a wanted wound. I feel better...because everyone bleeds right? And sometimes when these memories of him haunt me I wash him away cover him in red. And sometimes when my mind strays to far this blood is my saviour. And when I dangle in my mind's eye that whichI will never have I laugh because I still have empty skin.

And now that I don't have you I wonder why I needed you.
