Young poets, now disbelievers.
Hearts all bruised and gashy,
stomped on by the printing press.
Children of the trashy.

Fakers are remakers,
recycling all the old.
Tear it up, smash it down,
we’re burning to be bold.

Pen and ink to paper
now to revert to dust.
Copy it and paste,
this is cyber lust.

Yearning for a change;
someone new each week.
It’s not your fault your thoughts are blue.
Your future’s looking bleak.
