A text for a lover.

I wrote your name in the steam and now I'm watching it disappear

I like to remind myself that nothing lasts

I like to keep in mind that everything disappears and everything leaves

I hope one day that will be so deeply rooted into my brain,

That I'll be branded with reality.

So, finally, I will be able to stop loving you

But everytime you've almost faded, I find myself retracing the bittersweet letter of your name.

I can't let you go. Not yet.

Something in me still thinks you can last forever.

It thinks you won't disappear, it thinks you'll stay.

How silly. I have to turn away from it.

It will keep burning my chest

The way your eyes do when they meet mine

I think I forgot to make you stay

I can't find your name

I think your gone..

Nicely written. I can definitely relate to this. You kept a clear focus which I really liked.
