This is about a boy who loved a girl.

He was still very much in love with her.

Not in the way she smiled, he never saw that anymore. He's even forgotten how to dream bout it.

It was in the way she threw a blanket over her shoulder, sat on the couch, and read a book for the third time because it was the only thing that could keep her from crying, that he loved her.

He loved how loud she coould laugh ever when everything inside of her was crumbling. He loved her at her best amd her worst.

He'd love her even if he never saw her best again.

He loved her for the wars waging inside of her head and the flowers on her dress.

He wasnt romanticizing her sadness or her pain,  no,  but when the light was gone, he found himself loving the dark

because no matter what shade she projected, it always found its way

straight

into

his

heart.
