This is a poem I wrote, because my dad died and I am constantly having to rmind my self what he looked like and what he sounded like. I never want to forget.

Memories of you cloud my mind,
They start fading.Why?
Are those your eyes?
Is that your voice?
I let them fade,
I have no choice.
This is my voice,
Dripping in sadness.
Thinking of you,
Is just pure madness.
You were more important,
Than I would've thought.
I'm finding I do care,
But you're already gone.
Gone forever.
What do I do?
Now that I'm losing,
My memories of you.

This is really beautiful.

I know how you feel with this. Obviously not to the same degree, but I find myself unable to remember something as simple as one's voice all the time.... Great, now I'm sad. :C

Still, great poem!
