This is based upon what I think of my life and the surrounding. Considering my nana has cancer my poppop angry because he is so worried and the fact that they won't tell me anything don't expect it to be happy.

Hidden

By Enshoku

As I walk past my mom

I see her smile and nod.

Saying she is just fine,

But I know all to well that it's a lie.

Hidden beneath the fake smiles and I'm fine's

There is a deep deep line

That separates sad from fine.

She is not happy,

As am I,

Not with the worry hanging over my head

So much so I cannot get to bed.

I lie awake all night until her picture I spy

And I finally fall asleep with tears from my cry.

I wake up in the morning fearing the worst

Fearing that awful curse

Of seeing someone you love

Someone you cherish

Suddenly die, suddenly perish

Hidden beneath the fake smiles and I'm fine's

Is just a facade, trying to hide with lies.
